By end of day today, or maybe if my boss is nice I’ll get to leave earlier, I will be on holiday! I cannot wait. Sept. 6th is our three year wedding anniversary and I’m so surprised how time flies. Seems like yesterday I was dress shopping. We’re going to Montreal for two nights and you can bet we’re going to be eating at Crudessence. It will be nice to see a few of our Montreal friends and enjoy what the city has to offer.

Of course I will be taking lots of pictures for a blog post afterwards. The nice thing about staying within Canada is no roaming charges, the bad part is, well not experiencing somewhere else. Hopefully if we close our eyes Old Montreal will lull us into thinking we’re somewhere in Europe. I think it can be done, there’s something very charming about Montreal and it’s hard to not feel like a romantic when everyone is speaking French. I somewhat feel odd being Mme. Le François with my Ontario accent, I usually let Mat do all the talking, but I am going to try. I find I can read and write much better than I can pronounce, but spelling something out doesn’t really help when dealing with a hardcore Francophone. I learnt this lesson years ago coming back from a skiing trip and stopping in a small town called St. Jovite, I managed to order in my broken French, but they gave me a hard time. Funny how these little things stick with you.
Lucky for us our anniversary will always have a long weekend associated with it. Wish I could take you guys with me, but hopefully the post will be good enough.
See you soon!
